Well-attended presentation on SwingCard and the law on bonuses
30-jun-2008

SwingCard is alive and kicking. On Wednesday morning 18 June we launched, in the presence of no less than 48 CEOs, HR-professionals and sales- and marketing managers, the SwingCard. SwingCard is the first prepaid B2B giftcard in the Benelux. KBC and MasterCard professionally supported SwingGroup with rolling out this brand new incentive. From 1 July SwingCard will be available as a single load version, and from November 2008 also in a reloadable version. You will find more info here.

SwingCard offers companies several distinct advantages:

  • Maximum motivation on the part of the recipient, because the user possibilities are practically endless.
  • Effective corporate branding: as a company, you will remain in the thoughts of the recipient for many months to come, and in his wallet.
  • Financial added value: because of the exclusive discounts connected to the SwingCard, it will be worth a lot more to the recipient than what the donor has paid for it.
  • Fiscal and social savings: if you give away a SwingCard under the terms of the new (Belgian) law on bonuses, the employer as well as the employee will enjoy considerable fiscal and social advantages.

After a short but specific presentation by Gunther Everaert about the card and its many uses, Patrick Derthoo and Inge Derde from Deloitte-Laga gave a well informed explanation on the Act of non-recurring results-related benefits for employees. Countless questions from the audience, aimed at the speakers, were proof of the large interest for this new incentive and the application thereof under the terms of the new law on bonuses.
